Platform-wide blocking is now judicially endorsed as falling within Section 69A's scope, not just content-specific blocking a significant expansion in how courts may read the provision. Architectural design choices (such as easy mirror-channel creation or message editing) can now be cited by regulators as grounds justifying broader restrictions, rather than narrower ones. Time-bound, event-linked restrictions are more likely to survive judicial scrutiny than indefinite ones, reinforcing the importance of duration in proportionality analysis.
